The insides of the lithium battery is enclosed in a rigid steel case. In its lower part is placed still ballast, bringing the weight of the battery to the minimum weight requirements of the standard lead-acid battery. The upper part of the structure consists of lithium-iron-phosphate elements and a battery management system. From external elements the battery is protected by sheet steel.
The electronic system responsible for managing EnSol battery and ensuring its protection is considered one of the most advanced in the industry. Its function includes preventing overcharge of lithium-iron-phosphate elements, overheating, protection from under-voltage and other abnormal situations. The system calculates and displays the charge level automatically on the battery case. Audible signals also inform about the need to charge the battery: when battery charge of less than 50% - 1 signal is sent every 4 minutes; below 20% - 1 signal is given every minute. Battery is disconnected from the truck when the level of charge is reduced to 1%.
Ensol Frost battery was designed specifically for working in refrigerated warehouses. Its main difference from the basic model of the EnSoL battery is the presence of a thermal protective casing and a heating system for cells. This allows the battery to be used and charged in extremely cold temperatures (-35 ° C). At the same time, the battery capacity drop reaches no more than 5% of the nominal value.
EnSoL batteries are compatible with the main types of material handling equipment that comes in the following voltages: 24, 48 and 80 volts.
The design of EnSol lithium battery is thought out to the smallest detail - the equipment does not need additional maintenance, automatically disconnects the power of the equipment when connecting the charger, and for charging it requires only one movement - the plug connection of the charging station.
